A total of 48 graduates of dual study programs received their diplomas in 2019 at a festive event. Paul Seren, Head of Training Germany at Schaeffler, congratulated the former students of the Schaeffler locations in Herzogenaurach, Hirschaid and H?chstadt: "I am convinced that each of you has evolved professionally and personally. Your dedication, your ambition and your outstanding qualifications make you well-equipped for your future career. "

Outstanding achievements
During the multi-year study period, which alternates theory at the university and practice in the company, the students have rendered outstanding services. This is also reflected in the results achieved: bachelor graduates achieved a grade average of 2.0.

Particularly noteworthy are the achievements of Christina Weglehner, Jana Wedel and Simon Hetzel, whose work was rated 1.0 in each case. Thanks to the numerous practical phases, the graduates were also able to build up a strong network at Schaeffler, many of the former students are now employed by Schaeffler, and some are continuing their studies to become Masters.

Training at the highest level
Throughout Germany, Schaeffler is currently offering education at the highest level to around 1,500 young people at 23 locations. The technology company trains in 20 commercial-technical or commercial occupations.

In addition, Schaeffler offers a two-in-one degree program that combines training as an industrial mechanic with a dual degree to become a Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical Engineering, as well as dual courses of study for Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in cooperation with the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Mannheim as well as with the technical university of Nuremberg. These combine the practical experience in the company with the theoretical knowledge of the university.

For the start of studies in September 2020, there are still a few places available. Interested people can apply online.
